  • First tourney - 1974 Simi Valley Pioneer Days Champion.
  • Proudest accomplishment - Being the first ever NAWA Armwrestler of the Year in 1977. Presented to me on the Queen Mary in California. 
  • Most Memorable tournaments - Taking 1st in the light-heavyweight and heavyweight classes at the 1979 Arizona State Championship. I was the first person to accomplish this. In 1979 I took six of our team from West Texas to the NM State Championship and we won 15 first place trophies. Also, becoming the first husband and wife to win the WPAA California State Championship with my wife, Licha.
